In anticipation of Disney’s D23 media conference this weekend, Entertainment Weekly has dropped a whole bunch of new pictures from the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We haven’t talked a ton about Star Wars on the podcast yet, but I can assure you that we will, and as we get closer to the release date, we’ll report on any cool news.

I’m really loving the tactile nature of what we’ve seen so far, and I’m really excited for all the practical creatures/vehicles/sets they’ve built. Check out this dude!

I guess there are Jawa-esque thingies on other desert planets too.
